Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) Brand Recognition Program
As a partner of Femtech Canada, the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) is making their Brand Recognition Program easier to access for Femtech Canada members.
What is the SOGC Brand Recognition Program?
Products that receive the SOGC Brand Recognition Seal will have undergone independent, expert review by a panel of medical professionals to ensure they meet established standards for the Canadian healthcare market*, including:
- Received appropriate authorization from Health Canada
- Demonstrated scientific evidence of safety and efficacy
- Substantiated product and packaging claims supported by validated data.
Through evaluation by SOGC participating companies receive third-party recognition of the quality and credibility of their products, providing a platform to establish trust and confidence with patients and providers.
*The SOGC does not endorse or recommend any one product over another. They would encourage open discussions between Healthcare Providers and their patients to determine which product is best for each individual.
The SOGC will only recognize products that fall within their scope of expertise. Review and recognition is guided by best practices outlined in our Clinical Practice Guidelines.
