Program accelerates path to market for innovative women’s health tech solutions
Hamilton & Halton, ON – July 7, 2026 – Momentum is building for women’s healthcare innovation across Canada with the renewal of the wHealth MedPath program, Femtech Canada and Innovation Factory announced today.
wHealth MedPath is an Innovation Factory program delivered by Femtech Canada, Canada’s leading women’s health innovation network, and supported in part by funding from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP).
“We’re thrilled to announce the renewal of wHealth MedPath and proud of what we’ve accomplished since the program was launched last year to support early-stage and scaling Canadian companies in the femtech health and wellness space,” said Karen Linseman, Innovation Factory vice-president of operations.
“Investing in femtech does more than benefit women’s health – it represents a major economic opportunity for society as a whole. Continued support from our partners and NRC IRAP ensures femtech founders will have access to the expert guidance they need to bring their innovative health solutions to market and strengthen Canada’s leadership in this sector.”
Eligible Canadian femtech companies can leverage up to $20,000 worth in services designed to bridge the gap between innovation and market implementation.
Since its official launch in 2024, Femtech Canada has grown to one of the largest femtech ecosystems in the world, involving more than 200 companies that have generated over $250 million in private investment.
